Each duel will be ran differently as far as what spells are allowed.
But the main system is thus:
Each duel will consist of three rounds. It is all rp. You will rp your self using your spells or taking actions such as dodging, ducking behind items, all that.
The duel:
Duelist A chooses their second. A second is there in case you are incapacitated. They will then finish up your duel for you. If both are gone before the third round the other team wins by default.
The round is announced to be open by the duel overseer, me atm. Each round will last approximately two full days.
There will be a coin flip for who gets the first attack. They will then proceed to rp out their end of the first round.
ex:
Richard flicked his wand at t his opponent and thought his spell. 'stupefy'. He then ducked behind a table to await his opponent's move.
granted that is me being lazy and not typing a full rp.
But at the bottom of each post you must put your moves in brackets [/] or they will be ignored.
Word limit: there is a mandatory word limit of 200 words. any under and points will be docked.
Points system: each duel will be based on the following criteria:
grammar: possible 5 points.
entertainment: possible 5
plausibility: ( meaning is it believable in the scope of the situation) of 5 points
Each move attempted will be registered and a dice rolled. It will be posted whether each spell hit or missed.
I must stress no god modding. AT ALL. Godmodding, for those of you new to rping, means taking control of another person's character.
Before each match, the captains will post their team roster and stats.
Stats:
each person will be filling out this form.
stamina: how long you can go on without tiring
health: self explanatory
intelligence: this will dictate how effective more complicated maneuvers are.
defense: this dictates how you fair against dead on hits from spells
Every player will start out with 14 points for skills. There can be no more than 5 points in any one spot and no less than 2. You may take skill points from one category whenever to add to another but not when a duel is going on.
Any new rules or updates will be added when they pop into my head
